The UU chair is named after its design, which consists of two gently curved U-shaped frames stacked on top of each other; one ‘U’  flowing into the back legs and the other ‘U’ into the front. The UU chair is the successor to the U chair, which consists only of a U-shaped back. Adding arms to the U Chair gives the UU chair an enhanced armrest function and a lovely angular appeal.

The chair looks voluminous, but from the side it has a slender, delicate form and does not give the impression of being heavy. Great comfort can be enjoyed thanks to the backrest that is angled and cut at an angle to increase the cross-sectional area so that it does not feel stiff when you lean against it.
