The Uni Rest is an improved version of the 4300-model produced in Denmark in the 1960s by the designer Kai Kristiansen. Kai Christiansen who is still working as a designer in his mid-90s, redesigned the chair himself in cooperation with the Miyazaki chair factory as part of the UNI series. The decisive difference from the original is the machining process used at MCF, which makes it possible to give the elbows a twisted look. The new prototypes of the armrests, which were cut by Kai Christiansen himself, have been faithfully reproduced. They feel comfortable in the hand, pleasant to the touch and reveals a richly expressive grain.

The beautiful, sculptured armrests characterize this special piece. The back and seat cushions have also been carefully reconsidered to ensure that they are both light and comfortable. The curve in the seat cushion offers a relaxing seating comfort and facilitates the ease of use of this one-seater.
