Created with precision-focused details, Atlantic is spacious, although its shell creates a cozy, cocoon-like feel. The profile of the upholstered seat flows seamlessly into a finely sculpted, solid maple wood base. The base is composed of various facets, bevels, and tapers.

The fully upholstered frame is top stitched, while the semi-attached seat and back cushions offer welt around the perimeter.

Perfect for customization, a combination of fabrics or leathers may be specified for the seat and back cushions to complement or contrast the body of the chair.

About the Brand

Founded in 1889 by John Mathias Bernhardt, Bernhardt Furniture Company’s history originates from humble roots, evolving into one of the largest family-owned furniture manufacturers in the U.S. today.

He honed the talents of local craftsmen and invested in the purchase of a veneer mill, lumber yard, and numerous kilns in Lenoir, North Carolina. His efforts resulted in what is now known as the Bernhardt Furniture Company, with 12 facilities and 1500 skilled employees, working with some of the best designers in America.
